One of the nice features in this game though is that most towns you come across will have a marker in the town where you can teleport back to once every hour. Gee, I wonder where they got that idea... hmmm... hard to figure that one out. Alright, honestly, this game has more or less the same setup as World of Warcraft, almost right down to every single shortcut key. That\'s good because WoW was easy to play, and so is this if you\'ve played that, and it\'s not like it\'s hard to pick up either.
In the end, Lord of the Rings Online is just a huge disappointment. While it copies some of the good things (okay, a lot of things) about other well received MMO\'s out there, its negatives are just too blaring to make up for them. Lord of the Rings deserves its very own brand new engine, that can do the insides of buildings and more round objects to make those models seem worthy of their textures. If you can ignore the animation issues and the horrid walking sound this game isn\'t too bad, it\'s basically WoW with a slap of Middle Earth. Do I recommend this over WoW? No, if you play and enjoy WoW, stick with that, LotRO gold holds nothing for you. If you\'re new, a huge Lord of the Rings fan, and want to get into MMO\'s, then this is for you, just not for the average MMO player since there is better MMO fare out there.
You deserved so much more Middle Earth, you truly did.
